Nur Asri, AICP
Founder & Managing Principal

Nur is a thought leader in community development. She designs research processes and co-creates place strategies with local experts. Armed with a decade of experience advising hundreds of communities across North America and supporting cross-sector clients on real estate, placemaking, and destination development strategies, Nur has worked on award-winning projects like the City of Cambridge Retail Strategic Plan, Downtown 2.0 Livingston County District Assessment, Puerto Rico Bottom-Up Destination Plans, and more. She has also published thought leadership pieces on urban retail and economic development strategies with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, International Economic Development Council, American Planning Association, and the Design Trust for Public Space.
Nur has lived in major cities across the world including Singapore, London, and New York, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Urban Planning, Design and Management from the University College of London, and a Master's of Science in City & Regional Planning from Pratt Institute.
She currently resides in Brooklyn NY with her wonderful new family of three.
